As a young boy writing was always part of my life and I used to love doing essays at school.
My mother bought me a Brother typewriter when I was 10 years old. I wish I had kept
some of my early attempts! Supposedly everyone has a book inside
them and it was only through practice that I managed to drag mine
out screaming!
I began "The Habit" in 1998 when I was still working
in the City. It is my 1st book and it took 4 long years to finish.
I left the City in 1999 to marry my wife and relocate
to Somerset. I am now running a couple of Internet related businesses.
My wife gave birth to our first child, a little girl in November
2002. A baby and a book in the same year! I still can't believe
it.
I am currently spending some of my spare time writing
my 2nd book, "The Lottery Killer" which should be published towards
the end of 2011.
The rest of my spare time is spent competing in Triathlons
to raise money for Cancer Research UK in memory of my Dad who died
in January 2000 from Cancer. I have a website dedicated to this
cause. It is www.formydad.co.uk
